Completion time varies depending on the complexity and size of the design, but we aim to have all projects completed within 3 days to 2 weeks.

There are a lot of various factors that will significantly affect the overall price of your custom embroidered item, including elements such as size, quantity, the number of colors involved, complexity of the design, the type of fabric or garment it is being put on, and much more. Because of this dynamic pricing structure, each design is priced individually based on its specific requirements. You have the option to supply the item that you want to be beautifully embroidered (see our Specialty Garment Section here, or if you prefer, I can make tailored recommendations based on your specific needs and our trusted suppliers.
1. Currently, I operate a small business and, due to this, I am not supplying jackets myself unless otherwise specified. However, I do plan to provide a selection of stylish jackets available for purchase on my website in the near future.
2. Since each jacket is customized to fit your exact size and style preferences, I genuinely want it to fit you as snugly and comfortably as possible! To achieve this, I kindly ask that you ship the item that is to be customized to me (and please ensure it’s freshly laundered or dry cleaned if it has been previously worn).
3. Following this, once I have received your payment, I will send a shipping slip to the email address you provided. Please use this slip to send your item my way, and I’ll take care of the customization process for you.
4. After the work is completed, I will return your item looking all new and shiny! Additionally, if you are located in the Dayton area, you are always welcome to drop off your item (contact us to schedule pick-up and drop-off) and have a personal consultation with me.
Should you encounter any difficulties in finding the perfect product for embroidery, I am more than happy to assist you in sourcing one for an additional fee if you don't see it available on our website.
Chainstitch and machine embroidery are great because I can use many materials. I've embroidered on jackets (including leather), pants, sweatshirts, robes, and blankets! However, I don’t currently work on lightweight t-shirts or windbreaker fabric. You have the option to supply the item that you want to be beautifully embroidered (see our Specialty Garment Section here, or if you prefer, I can make tailored recommendations based on your specific needs and our trusted suppliers.
Specialty Garments are truly unique items that you provide to us for custom embroidery, which we do not stock ourselves. This particular category includes a wonderfully diverse range of things, such as vintage clothing with character and charm, delicate materials like leather or silk that require our careful handling and expertise, and items that already have some existing decoration on them that can be beautifully enhanced with our embroidery techniques.
We're genuinely happy to collaborate with you on your unique items, but it's important to understand that Specialty Garments come with some inherent risks and considerations. Due to their distinctive and unique nature, we can't guarantee the precise outcome of embroidery on these items, as each piece may respond differently to the embroidery process.
There's always a slight chance of things like thread breakage, needle damage, or the design not being perfectly placed. Delicate fabrics can sometimes pucker or distort, and there's a risk of color bleeding with certain materials. Older garments might also have weaknesses that we can't always see beforehand.
We take every possible precaution to carefully handle your items with the utmost care and attention, but we must emphasize that we can't be held responsible for any unforeseen or unexpected damage that might occur during the embroidery process. Furthermore, we regret to inform you that, unfortunately, we cannot replace any damaged Specialty Garments under any circumstances.
Absolutely! We'll provide you with a sample of the embroidery on a similar fabric before working on your actual garment. This way, you can approve the design and make sure you're happy with how it looks before we proceed.
Yes, you can certainly cancel your order by calling or texting Stephanie at 513-549-6262, provided that an invoice has not yet been generated for your purchase.
If you have paid in full, you have the option to cancel your order and will receive a refund of 40% of your total payment. However, if you opted to pay only a deposit, please be aware that a refund will not be possible, as we have already committed resources to the materials and labor necessary for your project. Yes, you are fully responsible for any incorrect information that you provide, such as misspelled names or incorrect sizes that may not match your original order. If you find that you need to make any changes after the embroidery process has already begun, a new invoice will be generated reflecting the updated costs, and you will be required to pay for the additional expenses incurred as a result.
Yes, you absolutely can make various changes to the colors, fabrics, personalization options, and more but please keep in mind that there will be associated fees incurred for supplies, materials, and labor. In some cases, these modifications could result in your current order being canceled, necessitating that a brand new order be placed instead.
The cost of changes will depend on the specific alterations. Geektress Goods will determine the fee and you'll need to pay it in full before they proceed with the changes.

We do not accept shipment to multiple addresses for a single order. If you would like items delivered to multiple addresses, please place those orders separately.

No, Geektress Goods exclusively ships within the United States, ensuring that all customers receive their customized orders in a timely and efficient manner while focusing on domestic delivery only.
We do support shipments to PO Boxes, but we cannot ship to Military APO/FPO addresses
Once your order ships, you will promptly receive a tracking number along with a convenient link to track its journey online. If local, I will contact you via phone, text and/or email if applicable.
Machine embroidery digitizing is the process of converting artwork or a digital image into a stitch file that can be read by an embroidery machine, essentially translating a design into a set of instructions for the machine to stitch out on fabric using different stitch types and color sequences; it involves using specialized software to map out the design, defining stitch paths, and selecting appropriate stitch types to achieve the desired look on the finished embroidery product.
Digitizing is necessary for the design to stitch out on the item of your choice. There is a fee that varies if we don't have the design already and costs vary depending on the size, detail and time it takes to digitize. We also offer the digitized file for a nominal fee as well.
We do provide mockups on custom orders which will be attached to the proposal/estimate email we send to you. When submitting your request, please provide your email address and/or cell phone number that the information can be sent.
We use USPS and UPS as the shipping provider. We do also offer expedited shipping. Note: choosing expedited shipping does not mean that your item(s) will be made sooner. We can discuss expediting the production of your item(s) at an additional cost.
Machine embroidery fonts are digitized alphabets designed specifically for use with embroidery machines.

2 When you use an embroidery font, the software translates the letters you type into the specific stitch patterns, allowing you to personalize your projects with text, names, or other lettering. Think of them as specialized fonts that your embroidery machine can "write" with thread.
Depending on the manufacturer, we offer sizes for all people from infants, toddlers, children, teens and adults. Refer to the size chart on the product page and in our help section. If you are in between sizes, we recommend purchasing a size up.
Everyone has different prefrences with regards to fit. For example my husband and two of my sons are true to fit. My middle son is extremely tall and thin. He always either sizes up due to his arm and torso length or go with tall if the brand offers it.
